1 . Descriptions:
This fabric is woven 2/2 twill and it is one kind of cationic
fabric . It is 170D*170D and 100%P faint resistant outdoor fabric . It is finished with PD ,WF and TPU membrane . Also ,we can do
other finishing if you want to obtain its functions , just like
coating,lamination or tricot.
After this , it can be made waterproof and windproof . This fabric
is always used to product winter wear ,sports wear and etc.
2 . What kind of fabric is waterproof and breathable?
First of all, we need to understand that there are two types of air
permeability, which is generally understood: air permeability and
steam permeability, which are two completely different types of
indicators.
The former refers to the general air permeability, also known as
wind resistance or ventilation; The latter refers to water vapor
permeability, also known as moisture permeability.
Second, there are two types of waterproof, one is the common
anti-splash water, good called over splash water; This refers to
the water forming the ball effect on the surface of the fabric,
just like on the lotus leaf, but a lot of water stays on the
surface of the fabric for a long time, and the fabric will still be
wet. Another type of waterproof refers to whether water can pass
through the surface to the inside of the fabric, which is usually
referred to as water pressure resistance. This kind of fabric can
only be reached after coating or lamination the inside of the
fabric.

4 . Working principle Of Waterproof Breathable Fabric:
In terms of production technology, the technical requirements of
waterproof breathable fabric are much higher than that of ordinary
waterproof fabric. At the same time, from the quality, waterproof
breathable fabrics also have functional characteristics that other
waterproof fabrics not have. Waterproof breathable fabrics
strengthen fabric tightness and water tightness , at the same time
, its unique water vapor permeability, can make the internal water
vapor flowing rapidly. This feature can avoid breeding mold and
maintain the body dry all the time. This solves the problem between
breathable and windproof, waterproof, heat preservation perfectly .
It’s a new type of healthy and environmental-protection fabric.
Working principle: In the state of water vapor, water particles are
very small. According to the principle of capillary movement, they
can infiltrate the capillary to the other side smoothly, and thus
have steam permeability. When the water vapor condense into water
droplets, due to the effect of water surface tension which called ”
pull against each other between water molecules”, water molecules
cannot smoothly infiltrate to the other side. This becomes the
prevention of the infiltration of water and makes the membrane had
the function of waterproof.
